Finding a loved one’s grave can be difficult, especially if it has not been maintained for many years. Inscriptions on the headstone may fade over time, and cemetery records may contain errors in the person’s first name, surname or burial location.
Angelio helps you locate a relative’s grave in cemeteries across Ida-Virumaa. Our specialist will review the information and documents you provide, check available cemetery records and visit the cemetery to search for the grave and visually confirm its location.
To begin the search, please provide the deceased’s first name and surname, their dates of birth and death if known, and the cemetery where you believe they are buried. Old photographs of the grave, details of relatives buried nearby and any surviving documents can help narrow down the search.
If we find the grave, we will provide a photograph so you can see its condition. You can then arrange grave cleaning, flower laying or regular care if needed.
The available information may not always be sufficient to reliably establish the burial location. If we are unable to find or confirm the grave, we will explain the results of our search.
